No stock library tells your company's story.
The difference between a brand that looks generic and a brand that looks real is almost always in the image. Stock photos say "we could be any company"; own imagery says "we are this company, and this is how we work". We produce that imagery, from studio to drone.
We photograph products, spaces, teams and events with professional production and art direction aligned with the brand identity. In video, we produce everything from agile social media content to corporate and product films: capture, editing, colour and sound handled by the same team that knows your brand from branding to campaigns.
A well-planned session pays off for months, and that is how we think about it: instead of shooting for a campaign, we shoot for a quarter. The same production day yields the website images, the social content, the ad creatives and the material for catalogues or press, with framings prepared from the outset for the different formats. It costs less per image and avoids the most common problem: running out of material halfway through the month.
It is the raw material that feeds everything else: the website comes alive with real imagery, campaigns convert better with own video, and social media stops borrowing content. At O Gato do Rio, it is our photography that fills the Instagram, and the Instagram that fills the tables.
We work per session or on an ongoing basis, depending on the content pace your business requires.
Yes. We are based in Braga and work mostly across the Minho region and Porto, but we travel nationwide when the project justifies it. Longer trips are included in the quote upfront, with no extras appearing later.
They are yours, with usage rights for all the company's commercial purposes: website, social, ads, catalogues, press and print. No expiring licences and no payment per new use. We only ask permission to show the work in our portfolio, and if you would rather we didn't, we respect that.
A quick selection for social media arrives within days. The final edited and graded material usually takes one to two weeks, depending on volume. If there is a deadline to hit, we tell you upfront whether it is possible.
We do, with legally licensed equipment and pilot. Permits depend on the location — some zones are restricted, especially near airports and in urban areas — and we handle that before the session so there are no surprises on the day.
Both, depending on what makes sense. Product usually turns out better in controlled conditions; spaces, teams and the day-to-day of the company are shot on location, which is precisely where the authenticity worth showing lives.
It depends mostly on production time and the post-production involved. We work per session for one-off needs and in monthly packages for those who need content regularly — in that format, the cost per image drops considerably.
