AAUM

The project

The Students' Union of the University of Minho serves tens of thousands of students and needed to put academic transport in each of their pockets. They asked us for a complete solution: a mobile app for students and management software for the union. ReCURSO was born.

In the app, students check transport timetables in real time, buy trips directly on their phone and validate them by QR Code when boarding the bus. Trip history and receipts are always available, and the app is also the academy's communication channel: up-to-date news and the academic events calendar, from freshers' welcome to graduation parties.

On the union's side is the other half of the project, the one you don't see: the management software. That is where AAUM manages trips, tracks sales and analyses usage data to adjust supply to real demand. When we build an app, we always build the complete system, because a good user experience only exists when the operation behind it works too.

This is the kind of project that sums up the way we work: custom web and mobile applications, ready for any device, with back office, payments and data closing the loop, from pixel to database.
